Chinese take almost a week off to celebrate the new year. There were two mandatory days off in Singapore. Even after these two days, there are few people on the streets.

When Sachin made the first double century, I thought that the only other batsman capable of doing the same are Virendra Sehwag,Chris Gayle and Shane Watson.

Uttar Pradesh assembly has passed the resolution to split UP into four states. I wonder whether it will really materialize!

Motorola Razr is back!

I read the news that Motorola razr phone is back in a new avatar. I enjoyed owning this phone when it was a rage to own this thin flip phone. In its new avatar, the phone is based on Android operating system and has similar features to a Samsung Galaxy phone that I have now.

I welcome it though!

The arrival of smart phones and tablets

Although, I have known about the advantages of smart phones. I can now vouch for their usefulness. I own a samsung galaxy phone and read lot of news and check email using it. The days of going to a PC for everything is no longer needed.
This is a wonderful development.

Camel meat in Hyderabad during ramazan

I was surprised to read that camel meat is consumed in Hyderabad during the Ramadan season. Camels are brought from Rajasthan and Gujarat and sold for meat. Apparently, folks who lived in middle east for a while have acquired a taste for it.

We live in an interesting world!
